 About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and visionary educational leader to serve as the Secondary School's chief educational and executive leader. Reporting to and working closely with the Principal and Deputy Principal, the Head of Secondary will provide strategic, educational and operational leadership across all aspects of the School, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, wellbeing and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will inspire staff and students, strengthen community partnerships, lead high-performing teams, and ensure the School's vision, values and strategic priorities are achieved. With responsibility for teaching and learning, people leadership, organisational culture, governance, compliance, financial stewardship and long-term sustainability, the Head of Secondary will play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of the School and ensuring every student is supported to achieve their full potential in a thriving and inclusive learning environment.

Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Proven success in senior educational leadership within a K-12 or comparable school environment.

• The ability to articulate and implement a compelling strategic vision that delivers excellence in teaching, learning and student wellbeing.

• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams while fostering a positive and inclusive organisational culture.

• Strong governance, compliance and risk management capability, with an understanding of the responsibilities of independent schools.

• Demonstrated financial acumen and the ability to oversee the effective stewardship of school resources.

• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the capacity to engage effectively with students, staff, families, alumni and the wider community.

• Contemporary knowledge of educational innovation, curriculum, assessment and emerging trends in schooling.

• A commitment to child safeguarding, student wellbeing and creating environments where every learner can thrive.

• Alignment with and commitment to the School's Anglican ethos, values and mission.

• Relevant tertiary qualifications, current TRBWA registration, and a current Working with Children Check.
