Tree Worker

Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position

• Perform tree pruning, trimming, canopy reduction, thinning, and deadwood removal.
• Remove hazardous, damaged, diseased, or unwanted trees using approved arboricultural techniques.
• Assist qualified arborists with tree climbing, rigging, dismantling, and controlled lowering operations.
• Operate chainsaws, pole saws, hedge trimmers, stump grinders, wood chippers, and other specialised equipment.
• Conduct vegetation clearance around roads, powerlines, parks, commercial properties, and public spaces.
• Remove branches, logs, stumps, and green waste from work sites.
• Assist with emergency storm damage response and hazardous tree removal.
• Identify basic tree defects, decay, pests, diseases, and structural hazards.
• Maintain work sites in a clean, safe, and environmentally responsible condition.

Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience:

• Certificate III in Arboriculture or equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years’ work experience in tree work, vegetation management, landscaping, forestry, or arboriculture.

Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge:

• Current unrestricted MR or HR driver's licence.
• Chainsaw ticket and operation experience.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and handle heavy equipment.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical assessments where required.
• Physically fit for manual labour.
• White Card (Construction Induction).
• Elevated

Work Platform (EWP) Licence.

• First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Traffic Management qualifications.
• Chemical handling accreditation.
• Loader, excavator, forklift licences.

Annual salary will be between $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
