This is a Steel Fabrication Company and we are seeking a professional who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes, mentoring others, and helping build a high-performing department. This is a long-term role for someone looking to do more than just drafting.
In this role, you'll be responsible for leading the drafting function, producing 3D drawings, coordinating outsourced detailers when required, carrying out site measurements when needed, ensuring all project documentation is completed accurately and on time, and maintaining effective communication with clients, engineers, project managers and other stakeholders.
You need to have experience in structural steel drafting using TEKLA and/or Advanced Steel, strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and construction processes.
