About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join the Our Medical Dental team.

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting dentists and the wider team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the clinic, while delivering a high standard of care and an outstanding patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

·         Coordinate and support your assigned dentist, including proactive chairside assisting throughout the day

·         Take ownership of the clinical room, ensuring it is fully prepared, stocked, and ready for all procedures

·         Maintain the highest standards of infection prevention and control to ensure patient and team safety

·         Provide a supportive, professional, and caring experience for patients at every interaction

·         Assist with the efficient processing, sterilisation, and barcode tracking of instruments

·         Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations across the clinic

·         Support reception duties including appointment bookings, enquiries, billing, recalls, and follow-up calls

·         Assist with stock management, external lab coordination, and in-house lab work

• Helping to manage stock levels, coordinating external lab work and assisting with in-house lab work.

·         Minimum 1+ years’ experience as a Dental Assistant

·         Up-to-date vaccinations and serology appropriate for the role

·         Certificate III in Dental Assisting (preferred)

·         Experience with Dental4Windows (advantageous)
