Social Media Content Coordinator

At Bed Bath N’ Table, we create homes people love — and we’re looking for a creative, commercially minded Social Media Content Coordinator to help bring our brand, products and stories to life across our organic social channels.

Working within our Marketing team, you’ll take day-to-day ownership of organic social content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Pinterest, creating platform-native content that builds reach and engagement while supporting traffic and sales.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working closely with the Digital Manager, Paid Social & Influencer Marketing Specialist and broader Marketing team, you’ll help deliver an organic social presence aligned with our retail calendar, marketing plan and social media strategy.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves creating content. You’ll ideate, film, edit, write, schedule, publish and optimise content — from lo-fi short-form video and product demonstrations through to styling content, trends, behind-the-scenes moments and creator content.

You’ll balance planned campaigns with reactive opportunities, monitor our online community and use performance insights to continually improve what we create.

You’ll also have the opportunity to explore how generative AI and AI-enabled creative tools can improve content ideation, production, variation and efficiency while applying strong judgement around quality, originality, brand standards, privacy and usage rights.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, create, schedule, publish and optimise organic content across Social Media channels including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Pinterest
• Ideate, film and edit engaging mobile-first content including short-form video, product demonstrations, styling and store content, behind-the-scenes content, including copywriting and voice-over executions
• Monitor and respond to comments and messages in an accurate, helpful and brand-appropriate way
• Monitor organic performance including clear insights, learnings and recommendations
• Identify high-performing organic content with potential for paid amplification
• Support influencer and UGC activity through reposting, tagging, community engagement and content-library management
• Maintain social account hygiene and social commerce/content administration, including Foursixty tagging
• Use AI and AI-enabled creative tools appropriately to support ideation, copywriting, scripting, editing and content production

ABOUT YOU

You’ll ideally bring:

• 2–3 years’ experience in social media, content creation or community management, ideally within retail or another consumer-focused environment
• Hands-on experience filming and editing short-form video for social platforms
• Strong copywriting skills across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
• A strong understanding of platform-native content and what makes audiences stop, engage and act
• Working knowledge of SEO, keywords and social search behaviour
• Experience managing online communities and customer interactions
• Confidence using generative AI and AI-enabled creative tools, combined with the judgement to critically review and improve outputs
• An understanding of social analytics and the ability to turn performance data into practical recommendations
• Strong organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to balance planned work and reactive opportunities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
• Strong attention to detail and brand judgement
• A proactive approach and confidence taking ownership of your work

Most importantly, you’ll be creative, curious and commercially aware, with a genuine interest in consumer behaviour, social trends, product and how customers discover and connect with brands.
