About the RoleAt Southern Rural Water, we are currently embarking on a major Digital Transformation Program and are seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst to play a key role in the successful delivery of our transformation and ERP initiatives.
Working closely with senior leaders, project teams, vendors and solution architects, this role will provide specialist testing expertise to validate business requirements, controls, integrations, data migration, reporting and key business outcomes. You will play a critical role in ensuring solutions are fit for purpose, operationally ready and aligned with SRW’s business, regulatory and technology requirements.
The initial focus of the role will be Enterprise Systems replacement such as Finance & Billing and Asset Management, before supporting other transformation and ERP initiatives. You will lead the planning, preparation, coordination and execution of structured testing activities, including developing test plans, scenarios and cases, defining acceptance criteria and maintaining clear end-to-end requirements traceability.

As the Senior Test Analyst, some of your responsibilities will include:
Support end-to-end test planning and delivery across SRW’s Digital Transformation Program, with a primary focus on Finance and Billing.Oversee vendor-led system testing activities, reviewing test coverage, test evidence, defect quality, issue resolution and alignment with agreed testing standards.Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing with business teams, including preparation of UAT materials, business scenarios, test data, execution support and defect triage.Develop and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, acceptance criteria and requirements traceability across business, functional and non-functional requirements.Support all key test cycles, including system testing, system integration testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, data migration testing, reporting validation and production readiness testing.
About youThe successful candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate some of the desired experience and abilities below:Extensive experience in test analysis, quality assurance or test leadership roles within complex enterprise system implementations, ideally with experience across Finance, Billing or ERP environments.Strong knowledge of end-to-end testing practices, including developing test plans and test cases, requirements traceability, system and integration testing, UAT, regression testing, data migration testing, defect management and production readiness.Understanding of test automation, performance, security and other non-functional testing practices.Sound understanding of Finance and Billing processes, controls, data, integrations, reconciliation and reporting requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify testing gaps, defects, risks, dependencies and business impacts across complex processes and systems.
