Accounts Payable Officer

The role: As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of all financial transactions related to our suppliers and expenses. Your attention to detail and commitment to compliance will be vital in maintaining the integrity of our financial systems and supporting our overall business objectives.

• Process all supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Review and process employee expense reimbursements in accordance with company policy.
• Oversee Corporate credit card reconciliations.
• Manage and resolve supplier enquiries professionally and promptly.
• Ensure strict compliance with all accounts payable policies and procedures, maintaining a high level of integrity in all functions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounts payable processes and assist with ad-hoc tasks as required.
• Support project implementation related to process enhancements and assist with annual external and internal audits.
• Aid in End of Financial Year close-off activities.
• Take responsibility for adhering to workplace health & safety protocols.

What experience you'll bring: To thrive in this role, you'll need a solid background in accounts payable within a busy corporate environment, coupled with a keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role within a large office environment.
• Proficient and accurate data entry skills.
• Competency in MS Excel, MS Word, Gmail, and integrated financial software.
• Solid understanding of GST requirements.
• Demonstrated experience with large volume processing.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and self-management skills.
• Ability to take responsibility for tasks, work effectively as a team player, and possess a logical and organised approach to work.
• Experience with Finance One and Concur is desirable.
