HC DRIVER WANTED – FULL-TIME | SILVERDALE

Direct Steel Traders is a growing steel supplier based in Silverdale, NSW, and we’re looking for an experienced HC Driver to join our team.

About the role

This is a hands-on driving position delivering steel to multiple customers throughout the day.

As this role involves multiple drops, you'll need to be comfortable checking and re-securing loads after each delivery and understand the importance of safe load restraint.

What we're looking for

• Current HC licence

• Good understanding of load restraint requirements

• Demonstrated commercial driving experience

• Experience transporting steel or similar loads

• Good knowledge of Sydney metro and surrounding areas

• Reliable, safety-focused and willing to work as part of a team

• Ability to learn and adapt

• Physically fit and comfortable regularly climbing on and off trailers

Highly regarded, but not essential

• Forklift licence

• Experience driving a Road Ranger gearbox

• HIAB experience, or a willingness to learn
