Accounts Officer – Automotive Dealership

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety in their day, and is passionate about accuracy and efficiency.

About the Role

As our Accounts Officer, you will provide vital financial, clerical, and administrative support to ensure smooth operations across the dealership. Your responsibilities will span accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and general administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily reconciliation of cash, EFTPOS, and bank transactions

• Managing accounts payable and receivable, including creditor runs and debtor follow-ups

• Accurate and timely payroll processing and record-keeping

• Preparing bank deposits, refunds, and vehicle payouts

• Supporting the Financial Controller and providing administration relief when required

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance role (automotive industry experience highly regarded but not essential)

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
