8am – 4pm (37.5 hour week) Monday – Friday
Location: Midland
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our Community School team in Midland.
As the first point of contact for students, staff and stakeholders, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional environment while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the school.
Key Responsibilities
Provide front-of-house reception support, including managing calls and enquiries
Maintain a clean, organised and professional office environment
Manage office supplies, inventory and equipment within budget
Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail
Support student records management and maintain confidentiality
Assist with staff administration, including timesheets and attendance tracking
Generate reports and maintain accurate student and organisational data
Coordinate maintenance requests and liaise with contractors
Support event coordination and general administrative functions
Maintain first aid supplies and compliance requirements
About You
You are a motivated and detail-oriented administrator who thrives in a dynamic environment. You enjoy being the central support for a team and take pride in delivering high-quality service.
Skills & Experience
Qualification in Business Administration or a related field, with previous experience in administration, reception or a similar role.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain an efficient office environment.
Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and database systems.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with students, staff, and external stakeholders.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy when managing records, correspondence, and data entry.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism, particularly when handling sensitive student and organisational information.
Commitment to Youth Futures’ mission, values, and a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications & Requirements
Qualification in Business Administration or related field (desirable)
Current WA Driver’s Licence
Working with Children Check (mandatory)
National Police Clearance (within 6 months of issue date) (mandatory)
Department of Education Criminal History Check
Valid Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting HLTAID012 and including in date CPR component (mandatory)
