About the Role - Mathematics teacher (Years 5-12)
As a Mathematics teacher at Ballarat Clarendon College, you will play a pivotal role in fostering students' academic growth, confidence and curiosity in mathematics. Working within a collaborative and high-performing environment, you will deliver engaging and evidence-based learning experiences for students in Years 5-12, using data-informed practice to maximise learning outcomes and support every student to achieve their potential. You will contribute to a culture of excellence through strong relationships with students, colleagues and families, while inspiring a lifelong appreciation of learning and problem-solving.
Knowledge, skill and qualification requirements:
Commitment to students' academic, social and emotional development.
Knowledge of curriculum design, lesson planning and evidence-based teaching practices.
Ability to analyse and use student data to inform teaching and improve learning outcomes.
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and families.
Capacity to work collaboratively within a high-performing team.
Demonstrated commitment to Child Safety.
Willingness to learn, be resilient and agile.
A valid Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or ability to obtain.
