About the role

As the Cafe Manager at Curly's on the Corner, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of this popular cafe in North Curl Curl, NSW. This is a full-time role and is crucial to ensuring the smooth running of the business and providing an exceptional customer experience.

Duties

• Managing front of house cafe operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and customer service

• Overseeing the preparation and presentation of high-quality food and beverages

• Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations

• Driving sales and profitability through effective marketing and promotion of the cafe

• Fostering a positive and productive work environment for the cafe team

• Handling customer complaints and feedback in a professional and timely manner

• Collaborating with the team and ownership to implement strategic initiatives and drive business growth

What we're looking for

• Significant experience in a cafe or hospitality role, preferably in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service

• Proficiency in ordering and staff scheduling

• Knowledge of food safety and workplace health and safety regulations

• A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to creating a positive customer experience
