The Role: 

• Manage preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns across multiple entity types  

• Deliver end-to-end tax compliance including BAS, IAS, GST, FBT and related obligations  

• Work directly with clients to provide clear communication and ongoing support  

• Assist with tax planning and general business advisory work  

• Review work prepared by junior staff and provide technical guidance where required 

• Support managers and partners on complex matters and client engagements  

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and add value to client outcomes  

• Maintain accurate and compliant workpapers in line with firm standards  

About You: 

• 4–6+ years’ experience in Australian public practice (tax/business services)  

• CA or CPA qualification (completed or in progress)  

• Strong technical knowledge of tax compliance and SME advisory  

• Confidence managing client relationships and deadlines  

• Experience reviewing or mentoring junior staff (advantageous)  

• Proficiency with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks or similar systems  

• Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
