Exercise your excellent customer service skills through being the first point of contact for Outback Batteries customers across retail channels. You are responsible for the face-to-face sales of, and for simple installations of our battery products. On the job training can be provided for installation of battery products if required.

A minimum of retail sales experience is required for this position to effectively handle face-to-face sales interactions and customer enquiries.

FOCUS & PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

• SALES & CUSTOMER SERVICE
  Provide excellent, thorough customer service with a willing attitude to provide tailored solutions to all customers and being able to address escalated customer complaint and best modelling practices for floor staff. Maintaining timely and consistent quote turn around times and follow-up.

• MANAGEMENT OPERATIONS & FINANCE Sound knowledge of P&L & KPI's. Be able to manage and oversee store in the absence of the branch manager. Maintain a positive working environment.

• PRODUCT INSTALLATION & ADVICE
  Ensure customer satisfaction through sound advise and simple installation of battery products. Able to assist customers with warranty claims and credit returns.

• INVENTORY CONTROL STORE & WAREHOUSING OPERATIONS Assist Branch Manager in managing and maintaining the correct stocks and stock levels, processing stock orders and inter branch orders, tracking and unpacking .

• STORE WORK SHOP AND WAREHOUSE HOUSEKEEPING Keeping tabs of daily practices and organisational routines to keep a clean, safe, hygienic and visual appealing retail environment.

• A minimum of 3 years retail or customer service experience is required to deliver exceptional customer service and support business operations effectively.

CRITERIA

• Must hold a current driver's licence

• A current forklift licence (Preferred)

• Technical knowledge and experience with 6/12/24/48V systems would be a great advantage but is not essential

• Must be an Australian resident

• Must be available to work on Saturday's and some public holidays.

• Must pass pre employment medical and drug testing
