About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent Assistant Manager position based at our Browns Plains branch.

Working closely with the Branch Manager and wider team, you’ll play an important role in the day-to-day operation of the branch while building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and staff.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing stock levels, purchasing and inventory control

• Providing exceptional counter sales and preparing accurate customer quotes

• Responding to customer enquiries and requests in person, over the phone and via email

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers

• Supporting and leading branch staff to achieve team and business goals

• Assisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of the branch

• Taking ownership of additional projects, initiatives and management responsibilities as required

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings a combination of industry knowledge, commercial awareness and a genuine desire to succeed.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in electrical wholesaling

• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• The confidence and ability to lead, support and motivate a team

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• A proactive, solutions-focused approach

• A genuine ambition to develop and progress within the business

• A current driver’s licence

• A forklift licence and First Aid Certificate would be advantageous

• Full Australian working rights - sponsorship is not available for this position
