Machine Operators PVC

Plascorp, one of Australia's leading privately-owned national manufacturers and distributors of Industrial Ducting, Mine Ventilation, PVC Pipe and Steel reinforcing solutions is looking for a Machine Operator to join our Altona North manufacturing facility.

Our manufacturing team operates around the clock from Monday to Friday, consisting of three shifts: Day (7 AM - 3 PM), Afternoon (3 PM - 11 PM), and Night (11 PM - 7 AM). In this role, you will be tasked with the production of PVC pipes, ensuring that all manufacturing activities align with our established production schedules. 

We are currently seeking to fill

1 x Full Time position for the Day shift (7AM-3PM)

1 x Full Time position for the Night shift (11PM-7AM)

1 x Part Time position for the Night shift (11PM-7AM MON & FRI)

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Ensuring safety, quality and environmental procedures are incorporated into daily operations.

• Operating machinery,

• Meeting daily production expectations as per the production plan.

• Conducting pre-start checks on all equipment to ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Skills and experience required:

• At least 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing environment (PVC experience preferred)

• Current forklift licence required

• Understanding of OH&S requirements, correct manual handling methods and reporting.
