Concrete Pump Operator - New Project in South Australia

With a growing pipeline of infrastructure projects across Australia, we are seeking a experienced Concrete Boom Pump Operator to join our project team and work on an exciting civil infrastructure project in South Australia.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of concrete boom pumps for the project. 

Working closely with Supervisors, Engineers, concrete crews and site management, you will coordinate concrete placement and ensure pumping operations are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements. 

The role will suit experienced and reliable operators who take pride in their equipment, understand the demands of civil construction, are safety focused and are comfortable working on rostered FIFO 3/1 roster.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate concrete boom pump 

• Position and set up pumping equipment for concrete placement 

• Conduct daily pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks 

• Work closely with concreting crews, supervisors and other site personnel to coordinate concrete placement. 

• Monitor pump performance and concrete delivery throughout operations 

• Identify and report equipment issues or malfunctions 

• Maintain equipment and safe work areas around the pump in a clean, safe and operational condition 

• Follow all site safety requirements, project specifications and SWMS  

• Provide hands-on support during concrete placement and finishing

Requirements:

• Demonstrated 2+ years experience operating concrete boom pumps on civil projects

• Construction White Card

• HR Licence

• Current High Risk Work Licence

• Able to conduct pre-starts, identify faults and perform routine equipment checks

• Civil construction experience highly regarded

• Reliable and adaptable with the ability to work FIFO roster of 3 weeks on/1 week off

• Strong commitment to safety, quality and productivity

• Full Australian working rights
