Castleross Construction is seeking experienced Boom Pump Operators for upcoming FIFO and WA-based projects across Western Australia.

These roles involve operating Castleross-owned concrete boom pumps as part of a skilled concreting team, delivering high-quality concrete works across a range of construction and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
BOOM PUMP OPERATORS

• Safely and efficiently operate concrete boom pumps on site.
• Complete daily pre-starts, inspections and basic maintenance of equipment.
• Set up and position the boom pump safely and efficiently in accordance with site requirements.
• Operate the pump during concrete pours while maintaining consistent delivery and quality.
• Work closely with concreting crews, supervisors and other site personnel to coordinate concrete placement.
• Monitor equipment during operation and report any faults, defects or maintenance requirements.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas around the pump and associated equipment.
• Comply with all site safety procedures, SWMS and company requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience operating concrete boom pumps.
• High Risk Work Licence – PB (Concrete Placing Boom) required.
• PB VOC is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience operating boom pumps on civil, infrastructure, mining or major construction projects.
• Strong understanding of safe concrete pumping practices and site procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a concreting team.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Must be currently based in WA or willing to fly from WA for FIFO opportunities.
