Clinical Coordinator

Working closely with nursing teams, clinical leaders, students and education providers, you will help create positive learning experiences and support development of a skilled and confident nursing workforce.

The Role

The Clinical Coordinator (Facilitator) - Whole of Community PEP provides clinical leadership, coordination and support to the Professional Experience Placement ( PEP) program. The role works collaboratively with nursing staff, students, education providers and key stakeholders to facilitate high- quality clinical learning experiences and support a positive and safe learning environment. 

You will need 

• Demonstrated clinical leadership, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate and support staff and students in the clinical environment
• Demonstrated ability to provide education, supervision, coaching and professional support to promote safe, evidence-based nursing practice.
• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse and relevant clinical experience.

Details of appointment

• Fixed term part time, day worker position, working up to 8 hours per fortnight, commencing 1 September 2026 until 31 December 2026.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary

$109,767 to $115,813 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

• Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

• Rural Professional Development Allowance of an additional salary allowance of 4%

Eligibility

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

• Holds or is working towards relevant Post Graduate qualifications

• Current Driver’s Licence
