Role description

As a valued member of the Learning and Development team, the Clinical Nurse Educator plays a key role in leading and coordinating professional learning opportunities for nurses across Dhelkaya Health's Clinical Services. This includes the Urgent Care Centre, Geroe Ward, Connolly Rehabilitation Ward, Residential Aged Care, At Home Services, and Theatre.

Working in partnership with managers, clinical teams, and key stakeholders, the Clinical Nurse Educator identifies learning and development needs and designs, coordinates, delivers, and evaluates education programs that strengthen clinical capability, support professional growth, and promote the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.

The role collaborates closely with colleagues across the Learning and Development team, interdisciplinary partners, and external education providers to enhance workforce capability, facilitate knowledge sharing, and foster a culture of continuous learning and excellence across the organisation.

Based at the Castlemaine Campus, this position will require occasional travel to Maldon Hospital.

About you

Essential:           

• Current registration as a registered nurse with AHPRA without conditions
• Current Victorian Driver's License
• Post graduate qualification in education and/or or equivalent expertise such as Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Education (TAE)
• Recent experience of clinical practice or delivery of education in a healthcare service
