Join a Leading Marine Construction Business
We are a well-established and growing marine construction company seeking an experienced Outboard Motor Mechanic to join our busy Asset Department. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining and servicing our fleet of vessels and marine equipment, with a primary focus on petrol outboard motors.

About the Role
Key responsibilities include:
Diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repair of petrol outboard motors
Conducting preventative maintenance across the company's marine assets
Basic fault finding/repairs to 12 and 24-volt electrical systems
Assisting with maintenance and repair works on other vessels and marine equipment as required
Performing inspections and ensuring equipment remains compliant and operational
Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records
Supporting the Asset Department in managing fleet reliability and availability
About You
Proven experience as an Outboard Motor Mechanic or Marine Technician
Strong knowledge of petrol outboard engines and marine systems
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently
Experience working on commercial vessels or marine assets will be highly regarded
Willingness and capability to assist with mechanical works on a variety of vessels and equipment beyond outboard motors
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Current driver's licence
Relevant mechanical trade qualification preferred
