Air Conditioning Technician (4th year or Qualified)

PK Air System Services is a locally owned and operated air-conditioning business with over 15 years of industry experience. As we continue to grow, we are expanding from a home-based operation into a new warehouse and office facility in Brendale.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team and grow with a long-term local business.

The Role

We are currently seeking an Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. We welcome applications from experienced technicians, 4th-year apprentices, or fully qualified tradespeople.

Key Responsibilities

• Install residential and commercial air-conditioning and HVAC systems in line with manufacturer specifications and industry standards

• Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance

• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently

• Work safely with electrical systems, controls, and mechanical components

• Provide professional customer service and advice on system operation and maintenance

• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used

• Attend breakdowns and occasional urgent callouts when required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration

• Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

• Current QLD Driver’s Licence

• White Card

• Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)

• First Aid & CPR/LVR certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

• Reliable, punctual, and well organised

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Pride in workmanship and commitment to workplace safety

• Permanent Australian residency or citizenship

Highly Regarded

• Previous HVAC, trade, or mechanical experience

• Experience using ServiceM8 software

• Willingness to continue learning and developing within the industry
