Easy Cool Air & Electrical is looking for a high-level Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician to join our growing team in tropical Cairns.

This role suits a competent, experienced technician with strong diagnostic ability who takes pride in their work and can confidently manage service, breakdowns and installations across a wide range of systems.

We're not looking for the cheapest technician — we're looking for the right one.

We're building a team of technicians who take pride in their work and enjoy what they do.

The role

You'll work across domestic and commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, including:

• Service and preventative maintenance

• Fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs

• System installations and upgrades

• Providing practical solutions for customers

• Managing jobs independently while supported by our team

• Technicians with strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability across a wide range of systems will be highly valued.

What we're looking for

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration

• Current ARCtick Licence

• Restricted Electrical Licence

• Manual Driver's Licence

• Strong experience in refrigeration and air-conditioning

• Ability to diagnose faults and solve problems efficiently

• Professional attitude and strong communication skills

• Ability to work independently and represent the business well
