RESTAURANT MANAGER

About the role

ANZ NUTRITION PTY LTD is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team in Henley Beach, South Australia. This is a permanent full-time position for a capable hospitality professional who can take responsibility for the day-to-day management of a busy restaurant environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining efficient restaurant operations, high service standards and a positive dining experience for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.

• Monitor revenue, operational costs and restaurant performance, and assist with budgeting and financial management.

• Monitor stock levels and arrange the purchasing and pricing of food, beverages and other restaurant supplies.

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, liquor licensing and workplace health and safety requirements.

• Recruit, select, train, supervise and manage restaurant staff.

• Prepare and coordinate staff rosters to meet operational requirements.

• Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing training, guidance and support to maintain high service standards.

• Liaise closely with kitchen staff and management to coordinate food service and ensure smooth restaurant operations.

• Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally and promptly.

• Maintain high standards of restaurant presentation, cleanliness and customer service.

About you

• Minimum Diploma or higher level of relevant qualification.

• At least one year of experience as restaurant or cafe manager.

• Strong leadership, organisational and staff management skills.

• Sound knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service standards.

• Good understanding of stock control, purchasing and cost management.

• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

• Ability to resolve customer concerns professionally and maintain high service standards.
