This full-time, office-based role is ideal for a developing professional who enjoys working collaboratively with engineers and contributing to real-world project outcomes through accurate and reliable design documentation.

About You

You are an early-career or developing Draftsperson with experience in 2D and 3D CAD modelling and a strong foundation in engineering drafting principles. You enjoy learning, asking questions, and improving your technical capability in a supportive team environment.

You value collaboration, precision, and continuous improvement, and take pride in delivering high-quality drawings that clearly communicate engineering intent. You are detail-oriented, accountable, and motivated to grow your skills across a variety of industrial projects.

What You’ll Bring

• Diploma in Drafting or similar qualification 2+ years’ experience as a Draftsperson
• Exposure to 2D/3D CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Inventor)
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering concepts
• Understanding of Australian drawing and design standards
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset

What You’ll Do

• Develop 3D models and produce 2D mechanical drawings for fabrication and construction
• Ensure drawings align with project specifications and industry standards
• Deliver accurate, high-quality documentation that reflects engineering intent
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-disciplinary teams on project delivery
• Support design reviews and contribute to project coordination activities
