About the Role

As the Stockade Brew Co Bar Manager, you’ll be responsible for the successful day-to-day operation of the venue.

You’ll lead a small team, create an outstanding customer experience, ensure the venue operates safely and efficiently, manage stock and financial performance, and work closely with our Marketing team to help grow the Stockade Brew Co brand through promotions, events and community engagement.

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation of the Stockade Brew Co Bar
• Deliver exceptional customer service and memorable guest experiences
• Recruit, train, coach and support bar staff
• Prepare staff rosters and lead a positive team culture
• Manage ordering, stock control and inventory
• Complete cash handling, reconciliation and sales reporting
• Ensure compliance with RSA, food safety and workplace health and safety requirements
• Maintain high presentation and cleanliness standards throughout the venue
• Support promotions, events and community engagement initiatives
• Drive continuous improvement across all aspects of the business

About You

• Has experience managing or supervising a licensed hospitality venue
• Is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences
• Leads by example and enjoys developing people
• Has strong organisational and communication skills
• Takes pride in maintaining high standards
• Is confident managing stock, rosters and venue operations
• Thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys solving problems
• Shares our commitment to safety, quality and teamwork

Essential

• Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
• Current NSW Driver Licence

Desirable

• First Aid Certificate
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Experience organising events or community activations
