About Us

Vertex Minerals Limited is a gold mining company with a focus on redeveloping the Reward Gold Mine at Hill End NSW.  The Project is located approximately 200km west of Sydney in the central west of NSW between the major regional centres of Bathurst and Mudgee. To support the mine, we have a processing plant utilising a 3-stage crushing circuit, screening, ore sorting, ball milling and a gravity concentration circuit including a Falcon Concentrator.  An opportunity to join our team as a Process Operator is now on offer.

About the Role

You will be responsible for supporting the Superintendent across a range of tasks to operate and maintain fixed plant equipment, ensuring smooth and safe production at all times.

In addition, you will be accountable for:

• Ore preparation activities including crushing, screening, sampling

• Regular plant and equipment inspections to identify potential safety hazards or maintenance issues.

• Keeping detailed and up-to-date records of operations, including production data, equipment performance, and safety checks.

• Working closely with team members to meet production, ensuring safety is a priority at all times,

• Assisting with plant start ups, shut downs and change outs

• Proactively identifying and reporting opportunities for continuous improvement to boost productivity and reduce cost.
