All-Rounder Truck Driver HC/MC

About the role

Driving HC trucks throughout Southeast Queensland, transporting excavators, machinery, bins and equipment to and from job sites. This is an all-rounder position where you'll be comfortable getting out of the truck and lending a hand when required. Must be physically fit. After a short period, a company work vehicle will also be provided to the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Driving HC trucks throughout South East Queensland

• Transporting excavators, machinery, bins and equipment to and from job sites

• Loading, unloading and safely securing machinery

• Float and machinery transport

• Bin deliveries and collections

• Assisting crews with general site duties when required

• Helping around the yard when required

• Carrying out basic vehicle and equipment checks

About you

• Current HC or MC Licence – essential

• White Card - essential

• Previous heavy vehicle driving experience - essential

• Experience transporting machinery and operating floats highly regarded

• Confident loading, securing and unloading machinery

• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious

• Physically fit and willing to assist with general labouring duties

• Good attitude and willingness to help wherever needed

• Excavator, skid steer, forklift or other machinery tickets highly regarded

• Experience in construction or demolition work highly regarded
