Operations Team Leader/Manager

About the role

Gleam Team Domestic Services is seeking an experienced Operations Team Leader/Manager to join our growing organisation in Woodville, SA. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial strategic role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our domestic services business. You will be responsible for leading our operational team, ensuring service excellence, managing resources efficiently, and driving business growth. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for quality service delivery and customer satisfaction within the hospitality and tourism management sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and motivate the administration team to ensure high standards of performance and service delivery

• Manage scheduling, resource allocation and workforce planning to optimise team productivity

• Oversee quality control processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives

• Monitor operational budgets and manage costs whilst maintaining service quality

• Liaise with clients and address any service concerns or complaints promptly and professionally

• Recruit, train and develop team members to build a skilled and engaged workforce

• Maintain compliance with health, safety and regulatory requirements

• Analyse operational metrics and prepare reports for senior management

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery

• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures and best practices

What we're looking for

• Valid Police Clearance and/or NDIS Worker Check

• Proven experience in operations management within the hospitality, tourism or domestic services industry

• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams

• Excellent organisational and project management abilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure

• Knowledge of health, safety and compliance regulations relevant to domestic services

• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

• Customer service orientation and commitment to service excellence

• Relevant qualifications in management, hospitality or a related field (preferred but not essential)

• Experience with budget management and financial reporting
