We are looking for a driven, customer-focused Used Car Sales Consultant or Sales Cadet to join our successful team.

No Automotive Experience? No Problem!

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome new and existing customers and assist with product enquiries

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to generate repeat and referral business

• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers throughout the sales process

• Develop new business through lead follow-up, prospecting and dealership marketing initiatives

• Manage the end-to-end sales process from initial enquiry through to vehicle delivery

• Conduct vehicle presentations and demonstrations

• Negotiate professionally to achieve strong customer outcomes and sales results

• Complete sales documentation accurately and maintain up-to-date customer records

• Maintain strong product knowledge and stay up to date with used vehicle stock and market trends

• Follow dealership sales systems, processes and compliance requirements

• Work closely with Finance, Service and other departments to deliver a seamless customer experience

• Uphold dealership values, policies and professional standards

 What You'll Bring:

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

• A strong customer service focus and professional presentation

• High motivation, initiative and attention to detail

• Strong organisational skills with a proactive approach to lead generation and follow-up

• The ability to work effectively as part of a team

• A commitment to following dealership systems, processes and compliance requirements

• A strong desire to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets

• Previous experience and success in a sales environment will be highly regarded

• Automotive sales experience is advantageous but not essential

Requirements

• Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence

• Current Police Check (required to perform this role)
