Allied Health Assistant

• Demonstrate respectful communication skills that encourage and foster a supportive and positive workplace culture, including looking after your own and others' mental and physical wellbeing.
• Support subacute services in the provision of clinical services to patients within scope of practice guidelines by undertaking non - clinical tasks including retrieval, cleaning, tracking and maintaining equipment loaned to patients and other specialised equipment as well as performing routine clerical and administrative duties.
• Use self-insight, reflection and awareness of the effect of own actions on others, relationships and teamwork within the multidisciplinary team.
• Facilitate, monitor and be responsible for self development to ensure ongoing education to meet professional competency and mandatory training requirements and assist in mentoring/support of less experienced Allied Health Assistants.
