The Department

The Heart Centre is a superbly equipped facility, which conducts a full range of both invasive and non-invasive procedures. The Centre has four full time and one part time cardiac catheterisation labs and thirteen digital echo machines (across 2 campuses), including thirteen state-of-the-art 3D machines.

The Role

We are on the search for an enthusiastic Cardiac Physiologist (Grade 1) full time or multiple part time staff considered.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of cardiac technology and the results generated
• Work Independently to perform high quality work
• Obtain relevant patient information and communicate with patients effectively and professionally.
• Work collaboratively across the Cardiology department and with other medical staff
• Promote safety in the workplace at all times when working with patients and colleagues

Qualifications and Experience required

Essential

• Science degree

Desirable    

• Previous experience in Hospital environment working with patients
• Previous experience conducting Cardiology procedures
