Workshop Supervisor

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced and trade qualified Workshop Supervisor to take ownership of busy workshop for one of Australia's most progressive dealership groups.

You'll be accountable for the result, the customer experience, and the leadership of a great team— and you'll have the mandate, the structure, and the executive support to do it well.

The Opportunity

The Workshop Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of our modern, fast-paced workshop in the Greater Brisbane Area, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high-quality service delivery. Responsibilities include leading a team of service advisors, diesel mechanics, auto-electricians and apprentices, scheduling new bus PDI's, customer adaptations, service and repair activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

This role is designed for an individual passionate about industry leading customer service, leadership and operational excellence.

Qualifications and Experience

• Strong leadership and Team management skills, with the ability to mentor, coordinate and manage a diverse team of technicians, and drive continuous improvement activities.

• Expertise in commercial vehicle service, maintenance, customer adaptation, repair and diagnostics, ideally with bus and/or truck experience.

• Proficiency in Dealer Management software, as well as familiarity with industry-specific safety and regulatory compliance standards.

• Effective communication and problem-solving skills to address customer concerns promptly.

• Experience in budget management, operational efficiency, and planning to optimise workshop performance.

• Diesel Mechanic, Auto-electrician and/or BEV qualifications or a related field highly desirable.

• Valid driver's license and MR license, and the ability to operate fleet vehicles if needed.
