• $84,066.00 per annum + 12% superannuation

• Wadawurrung /Geelong based role (hybrid – 3 days in office)

About the opportunity

The Corporate Legal Team consists of three teams, the Freedom of Information and Privacy Team, the Corporate and Commercial Team, the Insurance and Claims team and two other specialist senior lawyers. The purpose of this role to provide high level administrative support to the Director and Corporate Legal team.

Key accountabilities

• Provide high level administrative support including filing, scheduling meetings, assistance with presentation preparation, drafting correspondence and management of general enquiries.
• Process and code all invoices issued to the Corporate Legal Team.
• Prepare all Corporate Legal Team internal and external government reporting.
• Co-ordinate and liaise with WorkSafe employees regarding Corporate Legal training (e.g. Freedom of Information, Privacy, Administrative Law and Business Law Basics) and professional development training for the Corporate Legal team.
• Support the Corporate Legal Team to develop, implement and maintain effective and efficient internal processes, procedures and precedents. 
• Assist the team with managing, maintaining and updating the Corporate Legal Team systems and databases (e.g. Content Manager, Advice, Contracts).
• Co-ordinate information to internal clients and external stakeholders and follow up on issues arising from internal client and external stakeholder engagement.

About you

You are highly organised, detail orientated and thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment, confidently supporting a high-performing team while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.

You will also possess:

• Demonstrated administration support experience in an environment of internal and stakeholder pressures
• Well-developed interpersonal skills, including good verbal and written communication, and the ability to develop positive relationships
• An effective team member, with a capacity to deal with a wide range of responsibilities and other adhoc tasks as required
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products, in particular Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, MS Teams and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• A qualification in administration or equivalent and/or relevant experience in a similar role.
