About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Casual Chef to join our talented kitchen team. The role will report to the Sous Chef & the Executive Chef and is responsible for supporting the kitchen operations for our Restaurant, Bar and Events operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Controlling food preparation and waste managment & stock rotation for your section
• Leading by example as a hands-on-chef with excellent quality standards
• Establishing effective employee working relationships 
• Assisting in menu planning, implementation and execution
• Abiding by hotel regulations, policies and procedures

Skills & Experience

To be considered for this position you will possess the following attributes:

• Trade Qualified
• Conference & Events and/or Restaurant experience
• Passionate about creating a fun and innovative team environment.
• Be flexible and adaptable to the different customer demands
• The ability to keep calm under pressure.
• A true passion for fresh ingredients & quality local produce
