Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) is seeking a highly motivated and organised Administration Assistant to join our team. As an Administration Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the project management teams and performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and a team player.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to project managers in day-to-day activities
• Create and maintain spreadsheets, databases, and reports
• Ensure contracts are prepared and administered in compliance with all policies and procedures
• Obtain all internal stakeholder approvals where required
• Guide and help Project Managers and other stakeholders with understanding policies, procedures, processes, and tools

Our ideal candidate has:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite specifically MS Word
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• At least 1 year of experience as an Administration Assistant or related position
• Certificate, Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (desired but not mandatory)
