Public Area Cleaners

Q1 Resort & Spa are seeking reliable, motivated and detail-oriented Public Area Cleaners to join our on-site team. In this role, you will help deliver exceptional guest experiences by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout our boutique resort, set within a luxurious, sophisticated and stylish environment.

This is a casual position and offered on a variety of shifts across a 7-day roster. Availability to work weekends and public holidays is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas with a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness whilst abiding to workplace and safety procedures.

• Daily tasks include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting

• Stock and prepare cleaning trolleys with chemicals and essentials as required

• Report any damage or areas needing attention throughout the resort to the Public Area Manager.

Who We’re Looking For

• A confident, service-focused professional who takes pride in creating standout guest experiences.

• Previous experience in cleaning or a similar role is highly regarded but not essential as on-the-job training will be provided.

• Strong commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards

• Must have the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members and understand workplace instructions and procedures.

• Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

• Successful candidates must be reliable, flexible, accustomed to working to timelines, possess a positive attitude and be detail oriented.

• Ability to work individually and in a team environment
