Process Supervisor

AIM Mining Corporation is an emerging gold development company with big plans underway. We currently operate the Warrawoona Gold Project in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia and have recently ramped up operations at the Nullagine Gold Project.

About the role

Reporting to the Production Coordinator, the Process Supervisor contributes to optimised performance of fixed plant operations by coordinating process operations and supervising, instructing, training and coaching the Process Teams to safely operate plant components in a cost effective and productive manner.

This role is offered FIFO from Perth on a 15 days on, 13 days off roster.

Key Duties

• Supervise, coordinate and oversee operations at the processing plant and related support systems including operation of the Crushing, Milling, CIL/CIP, Elution, Gravity, Gold Room, Reagent storage, TSF and water services ensuring productive and quality work outputs

• Liaise closely with the Gold Room Technicians in managing the Gravity, Elution, Gold Room and TSF and provide additional resources as required

• Monitor plant water use, process water dam and decant levels and Tailings Storage Facility

• Monitor ROM stockpile levels and ensure correct crusher blend is maintained

• Liaise with Metallurgists regarding targets, variations, plant performance and reagent levels

• Engage with the training department to cover any training needs for operations teams to ensure all competencies are met.

• Review and understand monthly forecasts & KPI's and communicate clearly with team members

The Person

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in gold processing plant including Crushing, Milling, CIL/CIP, Elution, Gravity, Gold Room, TSF and Water Management

• Ideally you have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Supervisor

• Strong safety awareness and ability to drive a positive safety culture

• Self-motivated, well organised and able to manage own work, and that of the team, to achieve agreed outcomes

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative and provide guidance to the team in reaching appropriate solutions

• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners and promote positive relationships within the team

• Proven ability to provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to the team
