Are you a Registered Nurse passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care? Join Western District Health Service as a Registered Nurse, where you’ll support patients, residents and other staff in a friendly environment and contribute to meaningful health outcomes every day.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide safe, compassionate, and person-centred care while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on patient outcomes across a variety of clinical settings.
Person-Centred Care
Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care that respects the individual needs, preferences, dignity, and wellbeing of patients and their families.
Clinical Assessment & Care Delivery
Undertake comprehensive nursing assessments and plan, implement, evaluate, and document care to achieve positive patient outcomes in accordance with professional standards and best practice.
Monitoring & Clinical Decision-Making
Monitor patient conditions, recognise changes in health status, apply clinical judgement, and escalate concerns appropriately to support safe and effective care delivery.
Patient, Family & Carer Engagement
Build therapeutic relationships and communicate effectively with patients, families, and carers, encouraging participation in care planning, decision-making, and health education.
Teamwork & Collaboration
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a supportive workplace culture and providing guidance and support to colleagues, students, and new staff members.
Quality, Safety & Professional Practice
Maintain accurate clinical documentation, adhere to organisational policies, professional standards, and legislative requirements, and actively participate in quality improvement, education, and ongoing professional development activities.
Advocacy & Patient Safety
Advocate for patients' rights and wellbeing, promoting a safe environment and ensuring care is delivered with respect, empathy, and professionalism at all times.
