Maintenance Fitter

About the role

Are you an experienced Maintenance Fitter seeking a new challenge? TSM Engineering Pty Ltd, based in Berrinba QLD 4117, is looking for a full-time Maintenance Fitter to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and carry out repairs and adjustments as required

• Liaise with production teams to plan and coordinate maintenance activities

• Implement best practices and procedures to improve equipment reliability and productivity

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and parts used

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the maintenance function

What we're looking for

• Formal trade qualification as a maintenance fitter, with 3+ years of relevant experience

• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals

• Working knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work safely and in compliance with relevant regulations

• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with production and other maintenance staff

• Valid Australian work rights are required for this position
