About the role
Details: The Disability Reform Taskforce (DRT) is seeking motivated policy officers to join a high-performing and supportive team driving the ACT's significant disability reform agenda. This is a unique opportunity to influence reforms that will shape the future of disability supports in the ACT and across Australia.
You will contribute to the delivery of the new landmark Thriving Kids initiative, helping children and families access tailored and targeted early intervention support, while also working on nationally significant NDIS reforms aimed at strengthening the Scheme's sustainability and improving outcomes for participants. From developing innovative policy solutions and contributing to legislative reform to collaborating with governments, communities and people with lived experience, you'll play a key role in building a more inclusive, responsive and equitable support system. If you're looking for meaningful work, complex policy challenges and the chance to make a tangible difference in people's lives, we'd love to hear from you.
We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where people with diverse thoughts, lived experience, and perspectives can thrive and contribute their unique talents to the ACTPS and ACT community. We encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disability, people with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, veterans, younger and older workers, and people with diverse genders, sexes and sexualities to apply.
