We are currently looking for Handyperson/Gardeners who are passionate, hands-on and are guest focused

About The Role

Deliver exceptional presentation of the gardens & grounds across the property.Knowledge of modern techniques in Lawn mowing and edging, pruning trees and shrubs, fertilising, planting, turfing, pest and disease control, Perform day-to-day general maintenance duties within the hotel rooms and public areasRespond promptly to maintenance issues and emergency callsMaintain all tools, equipment, and working areas in proper conditionMake recommendations for the property and assist with the long-term planning and development of the complex.

About You

Positive and optimistic attitude – "we can do anything" approachExperience with fixing day to day things – lights, taps, painting etcLogical approach to problem solvingAbility to coordinate contractors to get efficient resultsAbility to understand what the customer sees – and ensure our property is always kept to the highest standardAbility to work with teams, and communicate clearly and in timeKnowledge of a trade beneficialKnowledge of relevant legislation, standards and codes of practice highly regardedStrong communication skillsSupervisory experience of maintenance activities in a fast-moving lean environmentHands on role with a solid understanding, ideally experience in hotels
