Working closely within a small and collaborative team, you will play a key role in delivering support initiatives that enhance Monash College students’ successful transition into post‑secondary and pre‑university study.
To succeed in this role, you will bring a genuine passion for student engagement, strong attention to detail, and well‑developed problem‑solving skills. The position requires someone who is exceptionally organised, confident working independently, and able to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders. You will also need to be comfortable navigating and integrating multiple systems, with a continuous improvement mindset that seeks out more efficient ways of working.

Preparing and leading the development of the weekly student newsletter to keep students informed and engaged
Training and supporting Student Leaders to ensure they are confident and well‑prepared for upcoming events
Troubleshooting operational issues quickly and efficiently during fast‑moving event periods
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:
Proven experience in event coordination or project management - ideally in a high‑volume, time‑sensitive environment
Exceptional organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to juggle competing deadlines and deliver multiple major events in close succession
A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with the ability to improve systems, processes, and workflows
Strong communication skills and the confidence to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team
Demonstrated ability to manage confidential and complex student matters with sensitivity, professionalism, and sound judgement
