Assistant Category Manager | Supercheap Auto

At Supercheap Auto, we're passionate about helping customers get the most out of their vehicles. We're looking for a commercially curious and detail-oriented Assistant Category Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career who loves analysing data, solving problems, and wants to learn how products make their way from concept to shelf.

Working alongside experienced Category Managers, you'll gain hands-on exposure to category strategy, product ranging, pricing, promotions, supplier relationships, and commercial decision-making that impacts customers across Australia.

What You'll Be Doing

Support the planning and execution of category and product strategies.Analyse sales, product and promotional performance to identify opportunities and insights.Assist with new product launches, product lifecycle management and range reviews.Coordinate product information, pricing updates and category administration.Work closely with suppliers, marketing, planning and eCommerce teams to deliver great customer outcomes.Help manage promotional activity and ensure key category milestones are delivered on time.Maintain accurate product data and provide detailed reporting to support decision making.

You'll Be Someone Who…

Has strong analytical skills and enjoys working with data.Possesses exceptional attention to detail and takes pride in getting things right.Is organised, proactive and capable of managing multiple priorities.Loves problem-solving and finding ways to improve processes and outcomes.Builds positive relationships and communicates confidently with a variety of stakeholders.Has a genuine interest in retail, automotive, products and customer trends.Experience with Excel, reporting or commercial analysis will be highly regarded.
