Landscape Gardener – Full Time

About the role

You will be involved in a variety of residential and commercial landscaping projects throughout Townsville and surrounding areas. This is a hands-on role suitable for someone with practical landscaping experience who is confident working independently, takes pride in completing work to a high standard, and is looking for a stable long-term opportunity with a growing local business.

Key responsibilities

• Landscape construction and garden installation

• Site preparation and garden bed preparation

• Soil improvement and preparation

• Planting trees, shrubs and other landscape plants

• Installation and maintenance of irrigation systems

• Paving, edging and general hard landscaping works

• Turf preparation and installation

• Mulching and garden finishing works

• Installation of pots, garden features and landscape materials

• Reading landscape plans and following project specifications

About you

• Previous experience in landscaping or landscape gardening

• Ideally at least 5 years of relevant practical landscaping experience

• Good knowledge of landscaping construction and garden installation

• Ability to work independently and complete jobs responsibly

• Good practical problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

• Reliable and punctual work habits

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to undertake physically demanding outdoor work

• A current Australian driver's licence
