Plant Operator - Civil Construction

RCC Civil is seeking experienced and reliable Plant Operators to join our civil construction team, working across projects throughout Northern Rivers NSW and Southeast Queensland.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will safely and efficiently operate plant and equipment while supporting the delivery of high-quality civil construction works.

The successful applicant will be motivated, show initiative and be capable of working both independently and as part of a project team.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate plant and equipment.

• Complete daily pre-starts and routine operator maintenance.

• Report plant faults, breakdowns and servicing requirements.

• Complete daily dockets and plant records in Procore.

• Follow site plans, instructions and approved work methods.

• Comply with all safety, environmental and quality requirements.

• Attend site meetings, toolbox talks and inductions.

• Assist with general site duties when required.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous plant operating experience in civil construction.

• Current relevant plant tickets or evidence of competency.

• Current White Card and driver’s licence.

• Basic ability to read plans, levels and site instructions.

• Reliable, safety-focused and able to work with minimal supervision.

• Full Australian working rights.

Experience using Procore or similar software will be highly regarded.
