About the role

Capital Flavours Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Baker to join our team in Canberra, ACT. This is a full-time position that will see you play a key role in the production and preparation of high-quality baked goods for our customers. As an integral member of our close-knit bakery team, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and passion for baking in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods to our exacting standards
• Ensuring all products meet our high-quality standards for taste, texture, and presentation
• Assisting with the setup and maintenance of baking equipment and work areas
• Collaborating with the team to develop new recipes and improve existing ones
• Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Providing exceptional customer service and responding to any queries or requests

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef in a commercial bakery or similar environment
• Formal qualifications in baking or patisserie.
• Excellent technical baking skills and a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills
• Passion for creating delicious baked goods and a commitment to using high-quality ingredients
