Domestic Assistant- Community

Domestic Assistant – Community Aged Care | Part-Time | Monday to Friday

Minimum of 4 hours available per day (9-3 pm coverage), or 5 hours per day (8 am - 4 pm coverage).

Part-Time: Minimum of 16-20 hours per week.

Flexibility is required for coverage across both morning and afternoon services, across the week.

About the role:

Capecare is looking for a Domestic Assistant to join our community team. As a domestic assistant, you will be responsible for providing quality assistance to our community-based clients in domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry and other domestic duties as required.

Our clients are based in the surrounding areas near Busselton and Dunsborough, so you would need to be prepared to travel throughout this region if successful, and you are paid per km of role-required travel.

About You – Key Requirements to be successful in this role: 

• Current and valid C Class Driver's License

• Roadworthy vehicle with proof of registration

• Comprehensive car insurance

• Previous experience in a similar role

• Passion for working with the elderly

• Ability to provide or obtain a National Police Clearance prior to offer of employment

• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate required, or a willingness to obtain at your expense.

• Valid Australian Working rights.
