Disability Support Workers

As a leading provider of disability support services, we are committed to empowering our clients to live fulfilling lives with dignity and independence.

Responsibilities:

• Providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting

• Assisting clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management

• Implementing individualized care plans and monitoring progress towards goals

• Supporting clients to engage in social and recreational activities within the community

• Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the holistic well-being of clients

Requirements:

• Previous experience in disability support or a related field preferred

• Certificate III or IV in Disability Support, Aged Care, or Community Services (or willingness to obtain)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and overnight shifts

• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Valid driver`s license

• NDIS workers screen or willing to obtain

• Clean criminal record

• Manual handling certificate or willing to obtain
