Customer Service - International Freight Forwarding Sea and Air

About the role

We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Customer Service to join our dynamic team at Priority Cargo Australia Pty Ltd in Chatswood, NSW. This full-time role will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting our sales team in delivering exceptional freight forwarding and logistics solutions to our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

• Responding to customer inquiries and requests via phone, email, and other communication channels in a timely and professional manner

• Assisting the sales team with generating quotes, processing orders, and tracking shipments

• Providing accurate information about our services, pricing, and availability

• Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all customer interactions

• Identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell our range of freight forwarding and logistics services

• Collaborating with the operations team to ensure smooth delivery of customer orders

• Continuously seeking ways to improve the customer experience and enhance the efficiency of our internal processes

What we're looking for

• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of clients

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to think on your feet and find creative solutions

• Proficient in Cargowise prefered.

• Demonstrated experience in a customer service or sales support role, preferably within the freight forwarding or logistics industry

• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry preffered. Candidates who are currently in operations roll within freight forwarding are encourage to apply.

• A keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

• A team player with a positive and proactive attitude

• Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required
